Westfield Riccarton is approximately 7 minutes from Christchurch city centre.

The most direct route to the centre from the city is via Victoria Street - Bealey Avenue and then around the park to Riccarton Road.

If you are coming from the Christchurch airport Westfield Riccarton is approximately 9 minutes drive.  Take Memorial Avenue and then turn onto Fendalton Road, Straven Road and right into Riccarton Road.

Buses from the City to Riccarton: 3, 5, 20, & 21.

The number 3 bus runs from Christchurch International Airport to Riccarton approximately every 30 minutes from early morning to late evening.

The Orbiter runs from Princess Margaret Hospital to Riccarton and the Metrostar runs from New Brighton to Riccarton.

Bus numbers 81(Lincoln) and 88(Rolleston) are part of the Selwyn Star service and run from the Parkside terminus and travel via Westfield Riccarton.

Cost is $3.20 from the Temporary Bealey Ave or Hospital (Parkside) terminuses and tickets include one free transfer to another bus within 2 hours of first using it. Fares for children under 18 are approximately half the adult price on presentation of 'Can Do' card or approved photo ID with date of birth.

Metro Cards may be obtained from the Temporary Bus Exchanges at The Hospital (Parkside) terminus located on Hagley Ave between St Asaph St and Riccarton Ave, or the Bealey Ave terminus which is located at temporary stop locations on the south side of Bealey Ave between Durham St North and Montreal St.
