The session
Before your session, Melissa will ask you to complete a questionnaire detailing your requirements, such as forthcoming special occasions, problem areas, your wardrobe concerns, and your personal style-goals, etc.  You will also be asked to provide two photographs: a full body shot and a head shot for Melissa to better access your colours, body type, etc.

At the beginning of the session you will review Melissa's pre-compiled:
- Style analysis detailing the direction in which you should be taking your look and visual inspirations.
- Brief detailing of the cuts/style of garments and colours which will best suit you.

Armed with your customised 'shopping list', Melissa will take you to Westfield Riccarton shops where you can try on garments and footwear which she has pre-selected from a range of the fashion retailers.  Melissa understands that most of her clients are subject to time constraints, so for all personal shopping trips she pre-selects garments and footwear to quickly steer you in the right direction.
Following the session, you will receive:
- An electronic copy of your personalised style analysis.
- An electronic copy of your personal brief.
- Melissa's personal up-to-date compendium of online visual aids, stockists, trend report, and style references to keep you abreast of current trends.

Melissa's post-session guides provide you with the tools to increase your own fashion knowledge to know which styles best suit you.

Master the Art of Smoky Eyes

The quintessential evening look is about sultry eye makeup and luminous skin. Follow these simple steps for a look that's professionally polished, never panda-eyed.

1)  Prep your skin with a nourishing moisturiser like Estee Lauder's Timezone and apply concealer under your eyes. Use a foundation brush to apply your base. The brush helps the product to go on smoothly and evenly, so that you use less.

2)  A trick used by makeup artists is to dust some loose powder under your eyes. Doublewear Mineral Rich by Estee Lauder is a fantastic product for this. Any dark eye-shadow that falls down can be easily brushed away afterwards.

3)  Choose a shimmery base colour such as a cream or grey and blend it up to the crease of your eye. Then, use a pencil to line the upper and lower lashes and smudge it.

4)  Take a darker eye-shadow, like a black or charcoal ( Estee Lauder's Black Smoke is ideal) and draw over the lashline again. Use a brush to blend the two colours together with the eyeliner to create a smoky effect.

5)  Finish with a killer black mascara like Chanel's new Sublime and a natural lip colour. Christian Dior's Addict Lipstick in Nude is a subtle but stunning choice for this look.
