Christmas Feast: Maple ham glaze
The perfect glaze for your Christmas ham is here. Follow these four steps on Christmas Day to satisfy the whole table.
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Allspice (or nutmeg)
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until combined.
Brush a generous amount of glaze all over the surface of the scored ham before putting in the oven.
Baste every 30mins with glaze and juices in pan.
Once cooked, allow ham to rest for 20mins. Baste with any remaining glaze and juices before serving.
