Fancy footwork: step up your sneaker game this season

Out of all of this season’s trends; colour blocking, metallics, loungewear- this has got to be by far my favourite. Thanks to the fashion gods, there is no longer a need to sacrifice comfort when it comes to footwear this winter. Push your sky-high stilettos to the back of your wardrobe because, whether you’re hitting the town with the girls, heading to a meeting with colleagues or going out to a Sunday lunch, there is never not an occasion that doesn’t call for sneakers.

Here we have broken down some key looks no matter what your style, and shown you how to pair it back with your favourite pair of trainers.

Keep it tonal

Style a pair of Nike’s newest range of suede pastels into a fresh and lush neutral look to rug up this winter. Don’t be deterred if the tones differ ever so slightly, it only adds to the dimension of the look. Finish it off with some rose gold highlights before stepping out.

Suit up

For a crisp and fashionable office look, slide on a pair of crisp white trainers with a tailored pant suit. Finish the look with a bold statement earring, liquid eyeliner and a red lip to really exude cool and take the look from boardroom to bar.

Look good in leather

It is often easy for leather pieces to look a bit much in the day, no matter how form fitting and warming it is in the cooler months. A killer way to dress this down is to pair it with knitwear and some trainers to really help soften the silhouette.

Burst of brightness

Perfect way to insert some comfort into what can end up being a rather painful night out with the girls in your highest heals! Slip on some crisp kicks with a party dress and a pop of colour of your nails and lips to ensure a fun Saturday night look.
