Take it outside: get motivated in winter activewear
Summer bodies are made in winter. We hear it all the time, but when it's pitch black and 5 degrees outside, who on earth wants to get out of bed? Bed is warm and snuggly and doesn't make you run faster when you don't want to.
For those of us currently on a fitness journey, winter can singlehandedly cause us to fall off the wagon. However, there are a couple of ways you can trick yourself into being more disciplined with your exercise regime: You can buy an automatic coffee machine that turns on five minutes before your alarm goes off, and lures you out of bed with the smell of fresh coffee. You can set yourself mini challenges so if you don't get up in the morning, then you have to exercise after work, when you're tired and hungry. And you can treat yourself to new activewear, so you're way more excited to jump out of bed and onto the treadmill.
Personally, we like this last one best. You do too? Here's some of our favourite winter activewear of the moment so you can stay on track with your fitness goals, and look cute at the same time.
Most importantly... Outerwear!
This winter is all about the tomboy vibes - think oversized puffers, boyfriend hoodies, slouchy bombers, sherpa fabrics, overbearing logos and cool sport luxe touches. We're also loving this Sherpa Bomber from Cotton On Body which looks ultra cosy or chilly gym commutes!

Warm winter bottoms
Have you considered adding a jogger or tapered track pant into the mix? They're trending big-time this season, and are super warm for low-impact exercise like yoga, Pilates and long walks - not to mention, they can be worn out and about as well! For all the tights lovers, you can shop an amazing selection of winter-appropriate prints and fabrics.

Cosy active tops
Ain't nobody got time for lightweight tanks when it's so cold you can barely feel your hands! Upgrade your active wardrobe in winter to include more long sleeves, cosy sweats, fleeced linings, darker shades and wintery prints. Bonus points if your tops match your bottoms - we heart twin sets!
