Recipe by incredible food content creator, Charlotte Ree.
My journey of learning how to cook has all been about finding the simplest and easiest ways to make the most delicious dishes. From savoury to desserts, entrees to main, my recipes are uncomplicated, pared back and inexpensive. So, when it comes to the classics like a humble garlic bread, why not make it yourself at home. It’s the way I use up leftover, not quite fresh but not yet stale sourdough, or a fabulous use for a discounted day old French baguette from the supermarket.
The key here - copious amounts of melted butter and freshly minced garlic. You can make the bread in advance, leaving it wrapped in its foil for the herbed butter to infuse until you are ready to bake.
