Diwali at Westfield Manukau
To celebrate Diwali, we had a week packed full of excitement for the South Auckland community!
On Friday 2 November, we welcomed Smita Upadhye to our centre to create a Rangoli for our customers. Over 8 hours, Smita had finished her Rangoli, leaving a lasting impression on the community. Smita is best known for her colourful paintings capturing the beauty of New Zealand and showcasing the vivid variety in Indian Culture. She uses vivid colours to create surreal patterns and portraits never seen before in the world of Rangoli.
From Friday 2 - Wednesday 7 November, we offered customers free henna tattoos to celebrate the occasion. With a wide selection of designs available, this was well received by the community and definitely provided smiles amongst our customers.
