October School Holiday Fun

We kicked off the first week of October School Holidays the best way we know how - with an epic slime zone!

A jar of slime and an accessory buffet saw the kids get stuck into their very first activity of the week. With multiple different coloured slime options and a whole lot of water, the accessory buffet proved to be a hit with both the adults and the kids! Glitter, feathers and coloured balls were up for grabs, adding a bit of a sparkle and fun to week 1.

For week 2, we put together a hungry monster craft box activity. The kids got to put their craft box together and paint it with their choice of colour, adding a pair of eyes and arms to complete their hungry monster. The final glittery touches were made, and the kids were excited to take home their newest creation.

Last but certainly not least, Craig Smith "The Wonky Donkey Man" visited the centre to perform 2 special interactive shows for a large number of keen onlookers.

Armed with his guitar, a number of puppets and costumes, Craig Smith brought along Kaha the Kea and Monty the Monkey to help make the kids laugh a little louder. The 2 shows were followed by a 15 minute Q & A session, as well as a chance for families to get their books signed by Craig himself.

A massive thank you to all of the families who came along to join in on our school holiday fun! We can't wait to welcome you all back to the centre again soon.
