Celebrating Te Wiki o te reo Māori at Westfield Albany
Te Wiki o te reo Māori (Māori Language Week) promotes the use of te reo Māori throughout September, with the official week of celebration beginning on Monday 14 September.
This year Westfield Albany is challenging you to Ahakoa iti, akona, kōrerohia (Learn a little, use a little) te reo as we celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori.

Test out your te reo Māori and learn new words with our Te Reo Māori activity hub available online from 14th – 20th September. Learn Māori words and phrases through simple activities including word searches, colouring and more.

At Westfield Albany we are proud to have upgraded our centre signage in time for Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. Keep an eye out for our new signs in centre that incorporate the use of te reo Māori.
