Pacific Language Weeks 2026

An annual nationwide celebrations that recognise and preserve the rich languages, cultures, and identities of Pacific communities across Aotearoa.

This year, 12 Pacific languages are being celebrated: Rotuma, Samoa, Kiribati, Cook Islands Māori, Tonga, Papua New Guinea, Tuvalu, Fiji, Niue, Tokela and Solomon Islands.

Through cultural workshops, performances, community events, and interactive experiences, Westfield Manukau is committed to creating opportunities for our community to connect, learn, and celebrate the diversity of Pacific cultures and languages.
