This winter, Island Gelato is bringing a taste of Italy to Westfield Newmarket with its new Winter Dolce Vita range, a collection of comforting treats inspired by authentic Italian flavours, traditions and craftsmanship.
At Island Gelato, everything starts with a simple philosophy: exceptional ingredients create exceptional flavour. Just like in Italy, where some of the most loved dishes are often the simplest, our focus is on quality, authenticity and creating memorable moments around food.
Leading the winter range is our new Tiramisu Dessert Cup, inspired by one of Italy's most iconic desserts. This indulgent creation combines layers of flavour and texture with our handcrafted gelato and rich mascarpone cream, which is made fresh in-house by our team. The result is a deliciously creamy and satisfying dessert that captures the essence of tiramisu while adding a uniquely Island Gelato twist. Better still, guests can customise their experience by pairing the dessert with their favourite gelato flavour.
Also making its debut this winter is Brioche al Gelato, a Sicilian classic that has been enjoyed for generations. A staple throughout Sicily, it's often eaten for breakfast and is a much-loved part of Italian food culture. The combination is beautifully simple: a warm, soft and buttery toasted brioche bun filled with your choice of freshly made gelato. The contrast between the warm brioche and cool, creamy gelato creates a truly unforgettable experience and one that's quickly becoming a favourite with New Zealand customers discovering it for the first time.
The Winter Dolce Vita range is all about slowing down, sharing good food and enjoying life's little pleasures.
