We’re collecting clothing for kids and teens

From Wednesday 8 July to Sunday 19 July, we’re inviting you to join us in supporting Nurturing Families by donating pre-loved clothes and toys to help local families in need.
Across Aotearoa, many parents are doing it tough, and something as simple as a warm jacket or a gently loved toy can make a meaningful difference to a child’s day.
By giving items your family no longer needs, you’re helping create moments of comfort, dignity, and joy for others in our community.
We welcome clean, good-quality clothing for babies and children from newborn to teen size 16, as well as toys that are in good condition (including all pieces), safe and ready for a new home.
We are particularly looking for donations of:
- Winter Clothing
- Everyday Basics
- Warm Layers (jumpers, jackets)
- Pyjamas
- Onesies & Babywear
- Socks & Leggings
- T-shirts & Long Sleeves
All items should be clean, in good condition and ready for a new home
The donation station will be near Kmart, making it easy to give back while you shop.
Together, we can wrap our community in care and kindness. Your donation helps local children receive what they need to be warm, safe, and supported during crisis.
Visit us in-centre to learn more and drop off your donations. Let’s come together to support local families and make a positive impact where it matters most.
