- Get onto State Highway 76 from State Highway 1 by using the right 2 lanes to take the ramp to State Highway 76.
- Follow State Highway 76 to Barrington St, Addington. Take the Barrington St exit from State Highway 76.
- Turn left onto Barrington St.
- Continue onto Whiteleigh Ave.
- Continue onto Clarence St.
- Turn left onto Dilworth St.
- Arrive at Westfield Riccarton.
From the North
Main North Rd/State Highway 1
- Head southwest on State Highway 1.
- Using the left 2 lanes take the State Highway 74 exit towards Main North Road and continue onto State Highway 74.
- Continue onto Christchurch Northern Corridor.
- Merge onto Cranford St.
- Turn right onto Innes Rd.
- Continue onto Heaton St.
- Continue onto Glandovey Rd.
- Turn left onto Idris Rd.
- Continue onto Straven Rd.
- Continue of Clarence St.
- Arrive at Westfield Riccarton.
From the Airport
Christchurch International/Domestic Terminal
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Memorial Ave heading towards Fendalton.
- Continue straight onto Fendalton Rd.
- Turn right onto Straven Rd.
- Turn right onto Riccarton Rd.
- Arrive at Westfield Riccarton on your left.

The number 3 bus runs approximately each quarter an hour to half hour between Christchurch Airport, Westfield Riccarton and the city.
